The Position We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to take on a key role in performing complex shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities for aerospace, defense, and precision manufacturing products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ERP systems and a commitment to accuracy, ensuring proper documentation, packaging, and on-time delivery in full compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards. This is a split shift with the ideal hours being 11 am to 8:30 pm. Job Duties Manufacturing Support Move required materials to work centers Retrieve and store fixtures Empty scrap hoppers Daily duties as they apply to housekeeping and/or 5S Shipping Operations Load vans and flatbed Prepare and package shipments per customer specifications Generate bills of lading Schedule pickups and manage freight arrangements to meet customer deadlines Receiving Operations Unload vans and flatbeds Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage Process receipts in ERP system, tagging materials and routing to appropriate storage or production areas Coordinate with Quality Control for receiving inspection and documentation Inventory Management Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/MRP systems (Made2Manage) Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and root cause investigations for variances Stage and issue materials to production per work orders and priority schedules The Right Person/What We Need From You HS diploma or GED Ability to lift to 50 pounds At least two years of previous ERP and/or WMS experience with full shipping and receiving duties Previous material handling experience required; Forklift certification required or ability to be certified is required Ability to read/write English Willingness to work overtime as needed for coverage or surges in work Reliability is critical for this role; this role requires consistent attendance This person needs to be comfortable in an active setting An independent personality: this person must be a self-starter What You Get From Us *We offer immediate benefits (1st Day of Employment): medical, dental, and vision insurance-, short- and long-term disability (company paid), and life insurance (company paid) *Hire-on-Bonus available *401K (Plus company match) *Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays *Employee assistance program *Tuition assistance *Gain sharing bonuses *Clean, and safe manufacturing facility *Weekly Paychecks *10% 2nd shift differential (in addition to hourly rate) *Quarterly Food/Treats (Food Truck, Ice Cream, Etc.)
