Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping/Receiving Clerk (2nd Shift) is responsible for supporting daily shipping, receiving, and materials handling activities to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for both domestic and international customers. This is an on-site role at our Elk Grove Village, IL facility. Schedule: MondayFriday, 2:00 PM 10:30 PM (2nd shift). Flexibility to start earlier or stay later may be required. Occasional overtime or weekend work may also be needed. In this role, a typical day will include: Picking, packing, verifying, and putting away materials. Preparing and processing domestic and international shipments (DHL, FedEx, UPS, LTL). Loading and unloading trailers; managing disposition and transfer of materials. Matching part numbers and quantities against shipping/receiving documentation. Supporting inventory cycle counts and rack audits. Accurately and promptly completing required documentation and system transactions in Oracle. Maintaining 5S standards and a safe work environment at all times. Meeting daily productivity goals and supporting KPI objectives. Participating in Kaizen events and other continuous improvement projects. Communicating effectively with peers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams. Essential Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid forklift certification is required (experience with cherry picker, stand-up, and sit-down forklifts). Experience operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment. Prior experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Ability to work with numbers and perform basic math calculations. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. English language skills: read, write, and comprehend instructions and documentation. Ability to look up and process basic information in Oracle. Strong commitment to punctuality, attendance, and shift flexibility.
