Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Controls Engineer - 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM) at our Oxford, OH location.

What will you do?

  • Create automated equipment/machine specifications which includes end of line test equipment.
  • Work with external suppliers to design and deploy assembly lines, including automated equipment.
  • Develop, deploy, and debug PLC and HMI programs for automated equipment.
  • Integrate machines and assembly lines into MIS and plants' digital manufacturing execution systems.
Who will you report to? Methods & Maintenance Manager

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with PLC programming.
  • 1+ year of experience in automation industry.
  • Experience in assembly line equipment design and deployment preferred.
