Description

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Handle inbound calls from members, clients, branch staff, and investment companies, providing comprehensive support and assistance.
  • Initiate outbound calls to maintain relationships with existing members, clients, and prospects, coordinating appointments and managing Advisor schedules efficiently.
  • Ongoing servicing of existing client relationships including review appointment preparation, client communication, account servicing and record maintenance.
  • Provide support for Credit Union IRA administration, including member communication, processing account transactions promptly and accurately, and supporting branch IRA processors.
  • Facilitate effective communication and training sessions for branch staff on investment referrals and the Credit Union IRA program.
  • Collect and analyze data from a variety of sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance for making informed calculations and decisions.
  • Assist with the execution of financial plans by preparing and processing forms to open new accounts, and diligently follow up on the setup of new client accounts and profiles.
Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE:
  • An understanding of the importance of superior member service standards with internal and external contacts.
  • Willingness to gain knowledge of investment products and processes.
  • Keep up with industry trends and changes in regulations including ongoing Continuing Education requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM management, and other relevant software.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on quality, and professionalism in all aspects of work.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or GED required. One to two years of financial institution experience or investment industry experience is preferred.
  • Missouri Life & Health Insurance license is preferred. If not already held, the individual must be willing to obtain life insurance license within one year of obtaining the position.
  • The individual must be willing to obtain a FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 7 & 66 registrations within two years of obtaining the position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position requires the following physical activities within varying environmental conditions:
  • Occasionally remaining in a stationary position which may be standing or sitting for a prolonged period.
  • Occasional travel or moving from one office location to another or from one department to another at the headquarters building.
  • Occasional lifting, moving, or adjusting objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Constant communication with others through various channels including verbal, email, and chat of which the last two may require consistent use of a keyboard and mouse or another electronic device.
  • Work will be in a commercially reasonable temperature-controlled environment.
  • Occasional temporary exterior site review which could be in outdoor elements of wind, rain, or snow
