Position Overview:
As our HR Generalist, you will be a critical contributor across several key areas of our HR department, focusing on compensation and benefits, HR metrics and reporting, and employee engagement among others. This role requires a methodical and analytical professional who is adept at managing multiple HR functions, ensuring compliance and contributing to a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, addressing employee inquiries and assisting in salary surveys and benchmarking to ensure competitive packages.
  • Track and analyze key HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs, preparing and presenting reports on HR activities, trends, and outcomes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, monitor retention rates, and use exit interview feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe working environment through training and awareness.
  • Manage worker's compensation claims and maintain related records, liaising with employees, medical providers, and insurance companies to ensure effective claim management.
  • Facilitate smooth integration of new hires into the organization, ensuring a comprehensive onboarding experience.
  • Provide support in resolving employee issues, fostering a positive workplace culture, and handling grievances and conflicts.
  • Ensure that HR activities are compliant with employment laws, assist in developing HR policies, and conduct audits to maintain compliance and improve processes.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and the development of performance improvement plans, offering guidance on best practices for employee development.
  • Coordinate training programs, identify training needs, and assist in the development of training materials to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and manage essential HR documentation, ensuring the administration of HR programs and initiatives is seamless and effective.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources with exposure to multiple HR disciplines.
  • Knowledge of local employment laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at handling sensitive matters confidentially.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work at onsite at our facility in Bethlehem.
