**The opportunity**

Position: Accountant, Gardena, CA

The mission of the role

Provide financial and accounting support to the finance team. Record business transactions. Oversee the production of the monthly management accounts package.

**Specific Accountabilities**

Oversee day-to-day A/P and A/R processes, bank reconciliations, payroll journals, and G/L journals.

Responsible for month-end reconciliations for balance sheet items, and contributing to month-end accounts preparation.

Update weekly and monthly productivity reports. oversee supplier payment process

**The Person**

Experience

- Proficient with general accounting functions.
- Expert with numeracy and a high degree of accuracy.
- Above-average experience in MS Office systems.

Requirements

- Min of 2-5 years of experience working in accounting and/or finance.
- Experience with payables and receivables. Prepayments, accruals, accrued income, labor accruals, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows.
- Timely completion of assignments. Must be able to meet deadlines, primary productivity, and performance standards.
- Business degree in business, accounting, or finance.
