Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Intern to join our dynamic and growing accounting team. The Accounts Receivable Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting within the industry. This position offers valuable exposure to accounting processes, financial analysis, and industry-specific practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Research disputed delinquent account balances.
  • Coordinates with customers and internal departments to reconcile customer accounts.
  • Initiate requests for credit memos, return to factory and cash application as needed.
  • Generate recommendations to the Credit Department for account credit holds.
  • Upload invoices into customer portals
  • Contact credit card customers for payment of invoices
  • Perform account reconciliation
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous accounting or finance internship experience is a plus but not required

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Infor experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills
