Purpose Statement

This is an exciting opportunity for a student who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-driven In this role you will work with our Global Markets (GM) Finance Department supporting our WHQ based team of analysts with consolidated financial reporting and analysis. This internship will begin in September 2024 working ~10-15 hours/week (max of 20 hours/week) through August 2025.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

  • Provide direct support to various members of the Global Markets WHQ Finance team, reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting and Analysis and interacting with the Vice President of GM Finance.
  • Support consolidation of GM Financial information, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, SG&A and Foreign Exchange Impact analysis.
  • Prepare profitability analysis for Export markets to support pricing request for new business.
  • Assist with financial forecasting and budgeting analysis for various country and consolidated corporate reporting.
  • Support ad-hoc requests for analysis on regional, country, customer & product profitability
  • Utilize Oracle Hyperion Planning and Financial Management, SAP, Work Day/Adaptive, Microsoft Power BI & Excel to collect data and prepare reports.
  • Create & update reporting dashboards in Power BI for advanced data analytics and to support continuous improvement activities to streamline monthly reporting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, working towards earning a Bachelors or Masters degree (concentration in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related field)
  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Ideal candidate must have strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office 365 programs (Word, PowerPoint & Teams).
  • Experience with Oracle BI tools, Microsoft Power BI, and SAP preferred but not required.
  • Functional competencies to include Financial acumen along with strong problem solving, organizational, collaboration, interpersonal & communication skills
  • Need to have a general understanding of accounting and U.S. GAAP.
  • Second language preferred but not required.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate

$17.00 - $23.00
