FUNCTION: Responsible for the maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and modification of new and existing electrical equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus equipment, wiring, and services to include panels, breakers, and conduits. Monitor motor transformers and lighting fixture positions and complete circuits according to diagram specifications. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using the appropriate tools and testing instruments. Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, motor control centers and programmable logic controls. Lay out and install new electrical service including panels, breakers, disconnect and switches. Install and maintain various types of motors, lighting fixtures. generators, circuit breakers and transformers. Formulate and implement a preventative maintenance program for electrical equipment. Install grounding leads. Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacements. Document, recommend and execute maintenance procedures to ensure the proper use of equipment and supplies. Respond and take appropriate action in the event of an emergency or critical incident, i.e., power outages, system failures and other emergencies. Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests. Using the Nugget's system of recognition, recognize team members who are going "above and beyond" as appropriate. Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations. Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike. Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager. Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same. Regular predictable attendance is required. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Assistant Shift Manager MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION LEVEL: High School diploma or equivalent is required. LANGUAGE: Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years' experience as an electrician working on commercial or industrial projects. SPECIAL SKILLS: LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: OSHA-10 certification, Nevada State certification required. Valid Nevada driver's license and clean 3-year DMV record required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs. Fine finger manipulation. Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
