Represent company values at all times while interacting with fellow team members of Bon Bon Bon as well as the community around us (customers, vendors, neighboring businesses, delivery drivers, etc.) Greet customers and deliver an exceptional, on-brand customer service experience with each interaction. Accurately maintain inventory and organization of all items within the shop such as Bons, Novelties, Swag, packaging materials, etc. Deliver exceptional, informed, personal customer service to every guest of and within our organization to create customers for life. Monitor and maintain quality as the last stop before our product enters the hands of our customers. Answer shop inquiries and accurately communicate information with customers in a way that aligns with company standards: redirect to necessary team members as needed and leave clear messages for teammates. Accurate, honest, and effective use of reporting tools and Point of Sale system. Ensure shop organization and retail merchandising standards are maintained: keep orders organized and neatly displayed, maintain all shop decor. Perform all assigned daily, weekly, and monthly tasks at a high level: keep the retail space clean and organized, maintain the space by utilizing daily checklists and monthly deep clean checklists, package every order with passion and pride in accordance with company standards, and complete tasks assigned to you (opening and closing lists, weekly tasks, training support, etc.) Minimize waste of Bons and packaging. Maintain and work with the rest of the Bon Bon Bon team to continually improve product quality standards and quality control. Be eager to continue learning about products and experiences, sharing ideas through the proper platforms. Go above and beyond to resolve customer dissatisfaction or escalate to a Manager as needed to change a negative customer experience into a positively memorable one. Desired Skills & Position Requirements Required: 1+ years of customer service experience. Required: Ability to work directly with the public, providing excellent customer service at all times, including handling/remedying any concerns of the customer. Required: Strong organizational and effective communication skills. Required: Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and independently. Required: Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Preferred: Basic understanding of chocolate. Preferred: Basic understanding of food safety. Reading Comprehension - Must be able to understand written sentences and paragraphs in English in work-related documents. Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help people. Judgment - Able to show a proven track record for making good judgment calls in times of high pressure. Strong ability to maintain and develop relationships such as those with annually held events and developing opportunities out of new connections, etc. Performance Metrics Retail sales. Timeliness/Punctuality. Spend elongated times standing. Spend time reaching, bending, or twisting the body. Spend time using your hands to package goods using various equipment. Spend time making repetitive motions. Lifting and moving objects up to 50lbs. Conditions Work can be physically demanding at times, including cleaning, stocking, organizing, and shifting of materials around the shop.
