Due to growth leading fashion company seeks an accountant in Secaucus
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
Prepare and send invoices to clients promptly
Follow up on overdue payments and communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Monitor financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
Perform bank reconciliation
Record daily financial transactions
Manage all accounts receivable accounts and collection efforts
Conduct customer credit checks and monitoring
Perform account analysis to determine risk factors
Process accounts payable payments and maintain vendor files
Generate and record invoices
Analyze chargebacks
Reconcile transaction details between (url removed) and QBO
Post journal entries
Handle ad-hoc projects
Expected in office 5x a week 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online. (url removed))
Must have excellent Excel skills (Pivot, V-Lookup)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
$70-85,000
