Our client is seeking a strong HR Manager/HRBP with well rounded HR Generalist experience. This role is ideal for someone with strong HR Management/HRBP skills, working in partnership with Head of HR and Small HR team. Strong analytical skills highly desired.

Location: Near Manhattan Beach, CA 4 days onsite

Compensation: $120-140k + bonus

Job Duties:

  • Regularly provide advice, coaching, and counseling to employees and management
  • Leverage internal relationships and knowledge of the business and its needs to create and drive HR strategies that align with organizational objectives, specifically talent development, engagement, and performance management.
  • Serve as a proactive thought partner to leadership, anticipating business needs and leveraging business data, metrics, external market insights, and research to support informed decision-making
  • Coaches the businesss departmental heads and management in performance management processes, compensation and remuneration programs, recruitment practices, and management decision making.
  • Partners with management and leadership in resolving employee relation issues, conducting effective investigations, and recommending action for sensitive and complex situations.
  • Collaborates with the businesss departmental heads and management in identifying training needs, advocating for continuous learning for employees where necessary, providing coaching and mentoring support where required.
  • Researches, analyzes and reports on trends related to Human Resources in the business and uses these findings to develop strategies and solutions to issues that affect the businesss operations.
  • Develops and delivers varied projects throughout the business, actively participating in project teams, and implementing initiatives while simultaneously ensuring proper communication and collaboration within business departments and with business partners.
  • Partner with finance and business leaders on compensation review, including merit, job descriptions, performance pay, incentives.
  • Maintains a clear and detailed knowledge of trends, best practices, and labor legislation. This ensures attraction and retention of valuable employees by following efficient people management practices within the business leading to employee better engagement.
  • Strives to monitor existing labor policies and procedures in the business, constantly ensuring alignment with the businesss values and the external legislations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree, SHRM and/or related HR certifications
  • 6+ Years progressive HR experience, 1-2 years as an HR Manager/HRBP
  • Strong analytical skills, must be able to interpret data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence and lead
