Human Resources Business Partner

Our client is in the search for a talented HR Manager/HRBP with a diverse HR Generalist background. This position is perfect for an individual with robust HR Management/HRBP expertise, collaborating closely with the Head of HR and a compact HR team. Strong analytical skills are greatly valued.
Location: In close proximity to Manhattan Beach, CA with 4 days of on-site work
Compensation: Offering $120-140k annually plus a bonus
Job Duties:
- Provide consistent advice, coaching, and guidance to employees and management
- Utilize internal alliances and understanding of the business and its requirements to devise and propel HR strategies that align with organizational goals, particularly in talent development, engagement, and performance management.
- Act as a forward-thinking collaborator for leadership, predicting business necessities and utilizing business data, metrics, external market insights, and research to aid in informed decision-making
- Guide the company's department heads and management in performance management procedures, compensation and reward schemes, recruitment methods, and managerial decision-making
- Collaborate with management and leadership in addressing employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations, and suggesting actions for delicate and intricate circumstances
- Work alongside the company's department heads and management in identifying training requirements, advocating for continuous learning for employees when needed, and offering coaching and mentoring assistance as required
- Conduct research, analysis, and reporting on HR-related trends in the company and utilize these discoveries to create strategies and remedies for issues affecting business operations
- Create and execute diverse projects across the company, actively participating in project teams, and implementing initiatives while ensuring effective communication and teamwork within business units and with business partners
- Collaborate with finance and business leaders on compensation evaluations, encompassing merit, job descriptions, performance-based pay, and incentives
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of trends, best practices, and labor laws, ensuring the attraction and retention of valuable employees by adhering to efficient people management practices leading to enhanced employee engagement
- Oversight of existing labor policies and procedures in the company, constantly ensuring alignment with the company's principles and external regulations
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, SHRM and/or related HR certifications
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with 1-2 years in an HR Manager/HRBP role
- Robust analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the capability to influence and lead
