Healthcare Pre-sales Solution Architect Job Summary: We are hiring a Healthcare IT Pre-Sales Solutions Architect. The individual will be a highly specialized Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep healthcare domain knowledge and extensive IT expertise. This role is key in the pre-sales process, responsible for creating compelling and technically sound business proposals to secure new opportunities. The role bridges the gap between a client's healthcare mission and technical solutions, such as improving data quality, conducting advanced data analysis, and implementing new IT systems. Core Responsibilities: Proposal Development & Strategy: Write business proposals, lead strategic efforts for opportunity closures, conduct research to recommend improvements in data collection and analysis, identify problems in client data, and propose technical/strategic solutions. Assist in querying and analyzing data during the sales cycle. Solution Architecture & Design: Consult, evaluate, and analyze all aspects of statistical applications supporting client missions. Design and architect IT systems, recommend commercial software, and conduct alternative analyses for COTS programs to develop statistical solutions when needed. Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary technical contact for prospective clients. Provide training on interim analysis, study design, and statistical methods. Interpret and communicate results to leadership to build trust and confidence. Required Qualifications: At least 10 years of experience in the IT industry with a focus on healthcare. Expertise in Data Analysis, Biostatistics, Data Science, Signal Processing, Time Series Analysis, Statistical Simulation, Multivariate Analyses, Structural Equation Models, Machine Learning, with in-depth knowledge of Kinesiology, Neuroscience, Motor Control, Physiology, Orthopedics, and Biomechanics. Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, Matlab. Familiarity with data management tools like Jira and REMEDY. Experience with instructional design, ADDIE ISD model, and Adobe Captivate. Knowledge of laws and DoD policies related to privacy and confidentiality for compliance. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biostatistics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields. Graduate degree in Neuroscience, Orthopedics, or Biomechanics preferred. Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Scrum, healthcare IT platform certifications, or compliance frameworks like NIST or SOC 2 are desirable.
