Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Physicians Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier physician-owned and managed practice with 16 offices throughout Lee County. PPC is growing and we are seeking a talented Human Resources Manager to join our administration team.

As a key member of the leadership team, the HR Manager will lead all Human Resource, Payroll, and Marketing initiatives to provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, patient care, employee development, and organizational growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead and managed full-cycle talent acquisition to include sourcing, job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, extending offers of employment, and completing necessary paperwork from entry-level to physician positions.
  • Provide consultation to management on staffing, compensation, benefits, training and development, and employee relations.
  • Work in conjunction with leadership to create a positive work culture.
  • Guide the interpretation of policies and procedures while serving as a known expert in subject matter with a broad knowledge and understanding of HR functional areas.
  • Work with managers to resolve and prevent employee relations issues by coaching and training.
  • Advise managers on performance management, workforce planning, and compensation.
  • Manages employee relations practices necessary to maintain a positive employee-employer relationship and promote a high level of employee commitment; counsels both management and employees as well as performing exit interviews and surveys.
  • Coordinates and oversees all employee orientations and the onboarding process.
  • Responsible for the management of payroll from entry to approval including the year-end reconciliation and review.
  • Administers an annual review of PPCs benefits package to include; vendor relationships, plan options, cost-effectiveness, and employee satisfaction. Submits recommendations to the Executive Board for review and approval. Oversees benefits administration from new hire enrollment, open enrollment, and termination.
  • Counsels and advises management regarding compensation, promotions, re-classifications, transfers, and demotions to guarantee internal equity.
  • Directs the preparation of documentation requested for any external audits or investigations.
  • Oversees marketing with the aid of a marketing firm to review local media outlets, contract rates, and success of marketing campaigns to guarantee a return on investment.
  • Responsible for the execution and budget of all PPC events.
  • Demonstrates integrity, and ethical and legal standards in all dealings.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or related field or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to a four-year degree.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a Human Resources role with increased responsibility with demonstrable knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and human resources information systems is required. Healthcare experience preferred.
