Senior Growth Marketing Manager
We're on a mission to end the debt cycle—and help our customers and their communities unlock economic mobility for generations to come. Join the team that's making our goal a reality. At Possible, we're building a new type of consumer finance company. One that helps our customers stay out of debt rather than profits from them staying in it. As a Public Benefit Corporation, our mission and responsibility are to help communities unlock economic mobility—with affordable credit products designed to improve financial health.
Founded in 2017, our lead VCs are Canvas and Union Square Ventures. We are a fully distributed company with a global workforce. We have over 100,000 reviews on the App Store with a 4.8 star average rating. Just as we are committed to building a new type of consumer finance company, we are equally dedicated to the employee experience.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Growth Marketing Manager to spearhead marketing initiatives in customer engagement, retention, and cash collection. This role will have a deep focus on the Fund Recovery and Retention, developing and implementing strategic campaigns and lifecycle programs to enhance payment success and boost cash collection metrics—essential for our business's profitability.
This is a highly visible role that requires the ability to think strategically and tactically to get things done by collaborating with cross-functional teams. What sets this role apart is its broad spectrum, encompassing growth marketing, product marketing, and lifecycle marketing. This allows for a more direct and profound impact on customer engagement and revenue growth.
What You'll Do:
Work with Product, Creative, Strategic Finance and/or Data Scientists to strategize, plan, and execute fund recovery marketing programs across product lines, aimed at driving payment success and enhancing profitability, including from ideation to building and launching comprehensive campaigns and programs.
Utilize data-driven insights to develop, launch and optimize campaigns across various marketing channels, including but not limited to Email, PUSH, SMS, in-app, and web etc
Collaborate closely with the Activation/Onboarding lifecycle team to craft a seamless, end-to-end customer journey, focusing on driving both retention and repeat engagement.
Collaborate with data scientists and the strategic finance team for campaign analysis and reporting, identifying actionable steps for results optimization and user journey enhancement.
Identify big insights and constantly test new ideas by synthesizing inputs from multiple data sources (e.g. research, data scientists, product, acquisition etc) to unlock retention and revenue growth opportunities.
Work cross functionally with Creative, Product, Marketing, Research, Ops and Finance to develop, build and launch marketing campaigns/programs to support payment feature go to market and adoption as needed
Beyond the basics, what will make you successful:
Ownership: the growth stops with you, no matter what anyone else did or did not do. You're self-reliant, and can get things done in the chaos. You maintain uncomfortably high standards for both yourself and the people you are working with.
Curiosity: You are a natural problem-solver, you rarely accept the status quo. You relentlessly question and probe, asking "why" multiple times to truly grasp the core issue and devise effective solutions.
Collaboration: You understand that growth is a collective achievement, you excel in teamwork. You're adept at navigating change and ambiguity, always willing to go the extra mile to uplift and support your team
Good sense of humor: We're a close-knit, spirited team that faces challenges head-on and enjoys our time together. We support each other through thick and thin with a strong sense of camaraderie. We hope you are someone who shares this spirit and values a good laugh as much as we do.
Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of growth marketing, growth product and/or lifecycle marketing experience in Fintech, Financial Services or similar industry with thorough understanding of the common marketing channels and channel-specific targeting, usability, and general best practices
