Job Summary
We are seeking a strong, experienced and strategic Operations & Human Resources Director to help manage the day-to-day operations. Your main duties would be to oversee all aspects of our HR department, ensuring the effective management of our human capital. Work closely with the CEO regarding the management of the day-to-day operations to ensure that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of human resources principles, and the ability to drive organizational success through effective HR strategies.
Responsibilities
-Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and objectives
- Supervise and provide guidance to the HR team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
-Supervise and provide guidance to the HR staff, include training and performance management
- Oversee the full cycle of employee recruitment, from job posting to onboarding
- Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions based on candidate qualifications and cultural fit
-Manage employee evaluation processes, including performance reviews and goal setting
- Resolve employee conflicts and provide guidance on disciplinary actions when necessary
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture
- Oversee staff orientation and mandatory training
-Implement effective training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
-Lead coordination and integration of efforts among operations to produce a smoother workflow
-Organize and oversee the work schedules of department managers
-Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and according to company policies, DBH and The Joint Commission standards
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
-Established qualitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated and identifies opportunities for improvements
-Implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations
-Ensure that the work environment is are adequate and safe
-Communicate and explain new directives, policies and procedures to managers and for major changes meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions and maintain morale
-Project a positive image of the organization to employees, consumers, industry and community
-Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission standards
-Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience & Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the HR department
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and laws
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient analytical, decision-making and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
-Outstanding organizational skill and attention to detail
-Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
