**Acuren Group is currently recruiting an NDT Branch Manager to support our Northern BC operations**. This position will be based out of our Prince George office Location. This location provides local General NDT and API services for the Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, and Pipeline Construction and Integrity industries. Because of its central location, the Prince George office also supports both the Kitimat and Fort St John operations.
Reporting to the NDT Division Manager, this position is an on-the-tools manager who regularly performs inspections and supervises a small team of NDT and Visual inspectors.
**Position Information**
* Full time (40 hours/week)
* Staff training and development programs
* Supervision, mentoring, and technical guidance to a small team of NDT personnel
**Technical Requirements**
* CGSB UT2, MT2, PT2 (preference given to candidates with RT2 as well)
* Minimum of 2 years supervisory or leadership experience
* Minimum of 5 years NDT experience with 3 years UT Shear Wave inspection.
* CSA W178.2 Level 2 Inspector with multiple endorsements
* Preference will be given to candidates with API Certifications (API 510, 570, and/or 653)
**Required Abilities and Attributes:**
* Responsible for Client needs continually, focusing on building strong relationships with local clients and growing existing operations.
* Solid coaching and mentoring skills in technical guidance, direction, mentoring, training, and skills development to personnel.
* A highly collaborative approach to working within a team of Branch and Site Managers.
* Excellent technical report writing skills
position requires the review and approval of technical reports and timesheets.
* Assist regional Compliance Managers in the investigation and documentation of near misses, safety incidents, and non-conformances.
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure and work extended hours.
