Employees in this class are expected to progress through various developmental levels as they attain the necessary knowledge and skills required to assume responsibility for more difficult assignments.Essential Functions: Review and evaluate intakes and complaints generated through various methods to include the OIG complaint form, OIG complaint line, and OIG emails and other stakeholder inquiries. Researches various informational databases to collect relevant data and other facts and performing complex computations and analyses concerning data collected. Use fundamental analytical and research techniques to collect and evaluate relevant data sets from District source databases to assist in support of investigative and regulatory activities. Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors. Provide administrative support, research, analysis, and evaluation of information to assist investigators in their assigned work including research and analysis of public records, computer data-base records to support findings and recommendations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university. One year of full-time, paid, professional experience in either investigation, law enforcement, criminal justice and/or auditing, or a related field that is determined to be acceptable by the Office of Talent.OR A master's degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related field that is determined to be acceptable by the Office of Talent.
