Collateral Specialist
Responsibilities:
System set up of collateral records and ticklers
Lien Perfection of titles, UCC’s, Mortgages and any other collateral taken
Clearing of Loan Exceptions
File loan documents in file room and review collateral documents for completeness prior to sending to jurisdiction for perfection
Other duties as assigned
Provide highest level of quality service. Customer contact with internal and external customers. Work closely with all personnel in Loan Operations. Be able to make decisions within limits set within the Loan Operations Department.
Job Requirements:
Completion of four years of high school or equivalent required
Previous loan processing is required, preferably one to two years
General banking specific to loan processing is required
Requires attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customer, co-workers and management
High level of organization and attention to accuracy and detail is required
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with tact, discretion, and diplomacy
Knowledge of Premier Navigator preferred
