We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our telecommunications construction company. In this role you will play a vital role in providing strategic financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support to senior management. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying key trends, and providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels. What You’ll Do Financial Planning and Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support the company's long-range planning and annual budgeting processes. Conduct variance analysis, identify key drivers, and provide insights on financial performance against forecast and budget. Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and validate financial data for accurate forecasting and planning purposes. Monitor industry and market trends to make informed recommendations and adjustments to financial projections. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics, trends, and variances. Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures, to identify performance improvements and cost-saving opportunities. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various factors on financial outcomes. Support the preparation of financial reports for external stakeholders, such as investors, lenders, and regulatory bodies. Business Performance Evaluation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for tracking and evaluating business performance. Conduct regular analysis of operational and financial data to monitor and assess the effectiveness of key business strategies and initiatives. Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to optimize operational efficiency and profitability. Assist in the development and tracking of key financial and operational metrics for project analysis and performance evaluation. Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial and analytical support to senior management for strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and pricing strategies. Perform financial feasibility analysis for new projects, identifying potential risks and opportunities. Assist in the evaluation of mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and post-merger integration support. Support the development of business cases and investment justifications for new initiatives. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and financial regulations to inform and enhance financial planning and analysis activities. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of financial analysis and reporting. Identify opportunities to enhance data integrity, streamline financial processes, and optimize the use of financial systems and tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required. Advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) or professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred Minimum five (5) years of proven experience as an FP&A Analyst or similar role, preferably within the telecommunications or construction industry In-depth knowledge of financial planning and analysis methodologies, financial modeling, budgeting processes, and variance analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, concise insights. Proficiency in financial analysis tools (Excel, financial modeling software) and knowledge of ERP systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders at all levels. Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically, providing financial insights to support decision-making. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on data integrity and quality. Knowledge of telecommunications industry dynamics, construction project financials, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
