Location: open to any Elevance Health office location

t his position will work a hybrid model (remote and office) which requires working in the nearest Elevance Health office 1-2 days per week. The rest of the time would be working remotely (from home). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health office locations.

The Project Director will be responsible for identifying key people to bring about change and develops a network of contacts and targets specific people to achieve project goals and objectives.

How you will make an impact:

* Manages projects across business units, regions or the enterprise.* Influences at all levels within the organization, often setting strategy and direction.* Coaches and mentors project team members.* Mentors other project managers around project management methodology.* Determines project scope.* Develops resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans.* Develops operational readiness plans, including training and adoption.* Integrates vendor activities into project plan as applicable.* Coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms.* Develops requirements documents.* Develops project approval matrix.* Identifies project team training and tool needs.* Defines quality gates for each project methodology phase.* Defines critical success factors.* Establishes and manages the project warranty period.

Minimum requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 9 years professional project management experience, which at least 7 years are spent leading and directing large project tasks; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:

* Awareness of significant contributing factors to manage project change and demonstration of a solid understanding of end-to-end business processes and the critical IT dependencies strongly preferred.* Significant experience / business subject expertise related to Health Plan systems, Network development, Provider payment models, Value Based Care Operations strongly preferred.* Proven ability to translate strategy into work structure and governance, align executive stakeholders, mitigate issues and manage execution of key business deliverables* Masters in Project Management preferred.* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.* Able to work standard East Coast hours preferred (9-5 EST).

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $125,840 to $171,600.

Locations: Colorado, New York
