YOUR ROLE The role involves overseeing Facility & Infrastructure Management, General Facilities & Operations Management, EHS Program Development & Management as well as Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Compliance. Emphasis is on maintaining a zero-incident safety culture, managing 5S Culture and ensuring compliance with permits, safety plans & Henkel EHS mandates. General Facilities, Operations, and Infrastructure Management Manages & maintains capital projects for critical facility infrastructure and safety programs. Develops & supervises execution of facilities preventive maintenance plans. Manages company car pool program, electric vehicle charging & calibration systems. Ensures security measures for the workplace, collaborating with internal security and system vendors. Oversees day-to-day operations, including shipping, receiving & inventory management, monitoring safety & cleanliness of interior / exterior areas & manage cleaning/maintenance tasks. Manages space planning, budgets & construction projects within the facility. Responsible for fire life and safety systems, multiple site locations, laboratory design & new employee orientation programs. EHS Program Development and Management-develops & implements site programs, policies & procedures conforming to Henkel EHS mandates.Evaluates proposed projects & new chemicals for EHS compliance. Conducts safety inspections, ensuring documentation & corrective actions for deficiencies.Investigates incidents/accidents/near misses, determines root causes & implements corrective action plans. Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Compliance-Lead projects for continuous improvement in the Zero Incident Safety Culture program, manage 5S Culture, ensuring a zero-incident EHS culture site-wide. Prepare & submit environmental permits, renewals & routine agency reports. Develop & maintain safety plans, metrics & emergency response plans; update internal databases.
