Warehouse Manager for TPA (Trade Point Atlantic) 2100 Sparrows Point Road Edgemere, MD 21219 Warehouse Manager Summary:Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day activities and logistics for the warehouse operations, ensuring the warehouse achieves the standard goals and metrics set forth by the company. The Warehouse Manager will staff and mentor employees at all levels in the Warehouse including Warehouse Supervisors, forklift operators, shippers, CDL truck drivers and administrative staff. The Warehouse Manager will effectively lead the Warehouse team while overseeing safety practices, shipping, and receiving, KPIs, departmental budgeting, equipment, labor, training and external communications.

Warehouse Manager Requirements: Bachelors degree in Logistics or Business Administration required; Supply Chain Management is preferred 7 years experience in warehouse manufacturing operations Proven management and supervisory skills in a prior logistics role with a strong focus on customer service Warehouse Manager will have experience as a strong leader navigating conversations with employees including training, mentoring, suspension, termination, for employees at all levels Computer, radio frequency, bar code, automated warehouse systems, and material handling experience is essential Experience working in Warehouse Management System such as M3, Factory Track, SAP, etc. Experience with FIFO policies and procedures Experience in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 6S or Lean manufacturing experience preferred Professional membership in APICS with certification is highly desirable Proven experience in leadership, supervision, communication, and planning in a radio frequency-controlled environment for all inventory transactions Manage multiple goals and objectives Strategic planning and procedural change experience in a manufacturing environment Must be available to support team outside business hours as needed

Warehouse Manager Pay and Perks: Starting pay 110-120K with bonus and room for advancement Onsite work required at Trade Point Atlantic in Sparrows Point 401k 401k matching Health, Vision, Dental Insurance, 100% monthly premium funded by Pompeian HRA Vacation Programs + Floating Holidays Paid Time Off Employee Assistance Program O-Live Healthy Wellness Programs Family Scholarship Program Tuition reimbursement Community events Recognized as a top 2023 Workplace in Manufacturing, compensation & benefitsWarehouse Manager Responsibilities: Coordinate, manage and direct all warehouse activities daily, including safety, labor scheduling, supervision, proper utilization of space, equipment, and manpower Ensure department operates safely and administer forklift regulatory compliance program Measure, achieve and maintain 99% shipping accuracy, inventory control accuracy and on time shipping/delivery rate Ensure all receiving, shipping and warehousing transactions and practices of all products are completed and handled in a manner consistent with company policies, procedures, service and cost objectives Warehouse Manager will make recommendations for new innovative ideas to drive automation for TPA warehouse Warehouse Manager is responsible for staffing warehouse operations, implementing best practice for scheduling, maintenance of the assigned areas and equipment, implementation of safety, budgeting, expense management, and supporting sales, manufacturing, transportation, accurate inventory and data transactions Motivate and challenge warehouse employees; delegating tasks to staff; monitor progress, measure results, and coach staff on performance Conduct performance reviews and evaluations making recommending on promotions and development of employees Coordinate communication between the Warehouse, Production, Logistics, and customer service staff to ensure efficient and timely deliveries Analyze current space utilization vs inventory requirements and propose changes to achieve an optimum level of safety stock for finished goods and packaging materials Warehouse Manager will oversee the Warehouse Management system to ensure FIFO policy is being followed at all times Warehouse Manager will interface with accounting to resolve inventory/lot# discrepancies to ensure full traceability Partner with team members to review current processes, propose and develop changes and implementation to improve efficiency and exceed customer expectations Measure, achieve and maintain KPIs for shipping accuracy, inventory control, and on-time shipping/delivery rate Oversee facility projects, manage improvements and activity at the TPA Pompeian campus and overall security of the employees Manage and operate a GMP audit ready facility at all times Ensure all projects and daily work comply with environmental regulations, and company environmental goals Monitor warehouse trends, evaluate business opportunities, recommend and execute new initiatives Performs duties per Pompeians mission, goals and core values All other duties and tasks assigned About us: The Olive Oil People
