Summary

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting the accounting department by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to assist with decision-making processes. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Job Description

* Provide timely and accurate general ledger account reconciliation and analysis* Support and monitor lease accounting, ensuring accurate data input and adherence to group standards* Track and evaluate tangible and intangible assets including actively managing asset enrollment and validation and reporting to internal stakeholders* Identify opportunities to design new and/or refine existing analyses and processes to improve the asset management accuracy and efficiency over time* Establish proper accounting and reporting of inventory* Oversee various month end closing activities and prepare group consolidation reporting data* Support in bridging the gap between different ERP systems and general ledgers to optimize accounting transparency and ease of reporting* Support team in preparation of financial audits, both internal and external* Manage, improve, and document various accounting processes* Deliver monthly financial close reporting deck and planning cycle reports, including flux analysis* Performing ad hoc analysis and projects to support leadership initiatives* Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify accounting processes* Partnering with other teams and business partners to standardize reporting and forecasting mechanisms.* Perform ad hoc project analysis, as required.* Assist in development of models for budgeting, forecasting, 5-year plan as well as other ad hoc analysis including budget reviews with senior management
