Seeking experienced Senior Financial Analyst Consultants for clients in the South Oakland County, MI area to be engaged on an interim basis. As a Senior Financial Analyst Consultant, specific role(s) with clients and position responsibilities will vary from engagement to engagement. Work may include analysis of financial data and creation of financials that may include variance and costs, preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, support financial budgeting and forecasting to streamline business planning and decision-making processes, develop and maintain financial performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of business operations, and recommend strategies to improve financial performance and reduce costs.

The ideal Senior Financial Analyst Consultant candidate would have minimum 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or related field, advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial software, macros, Power BI, Tableau, Power Pivot, SQL, Access and/or related software systems preferred, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred, and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
