Due to our growth and the volume of opportunities now in front of us, we are looking for someone to join our team as Product Coordinator.Job Summary: Production Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of high-quality products. This role involves supervising production staff, monitoring production schedules, and maintaining adherence to safety and quality standards. Location: We are headquartered in southwest Missouri, in Purdy, MO., with our main production facility in Mt. Vernon, MO. You will be required to work at our Mt. Vernon location for the vast majority of the time, but may, as needed, be required to work at our Purdy location. Duties/Responsibilities: Work in a team environment with ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner.Lead and motivate production team members, including assigning tasks, providing training, and support in areas needed.Ensure team members comply with safety, quality, and productivity requirements and procedures.Plan and prioritize production schedule to meet customer demand and inventory targets. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.Regularly inspect production equipment and processes to identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies.Ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations and protocols. Promote a culture of safety among production employees.Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages or overages. Coordinate with purchasing and logistics departments to maintain optimal inventory levels.Maintain accurate production records, including any productions reports, work orders, and inventory logs. Provide regular updates to management.Accountable for two-way communication with Supervisor and management regarding the performance of team members and the departmentMust be able to work as a part of a team to work toward the greater good of the department by coordinating and communicating production needsMust be able to assist the Operations Manager with any necessary documentation as well as keep the them informed of employee and line issues.Responsible for assisting in the on-boarding process and cross-training of employeesAbility and willingness to rotate to other areas of production as neededPerform other duties as assigned.Additional Responsibilities: Work in a team environment with ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner.Ability to rotate to other areas of production as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent2-4 years in food production, industrial kitchen or related field.At least 1 year of previous leadership experience preferred.Preferred: Experience working within the natural food channel, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical industry.Physical Requirements: Sufficient visual acuity to observe appearance of products and cleanliness of production area and equipmentProlonged periods of standing and working in fast paced work environment. Ability to move as needed to various work stations within production facility. Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds at times.
