Responsibilities Manages Enterprise Account Manager DISA - Dept of Defense accounts, varying from large to small, within the DoD/DISA ecosystem. Understands customer IT and operational objectives, funding and acquisition regulations, policies and challenges; adds value by implementing HPEs strategy. Drives business performance for all HPE BUs and manages portfolio mix to optimize account profitability. Accountable for pipeline building and for deal closing support in collaboration with the deal team. Builds and develops relationships with key DoD/DISA influencers and decision makers in IT and operations; engages extended partner ecosystem and HPE Federal Systems Integrator team. Keeps current IT industry knowledge to position HPEs portfolio; provides feedback to extended account team members and acts as the customers advocate inside HPE. Plans for accounts to deliver results through the financial year and beyond; ensures rightsized pipelines. Resides in the DMV region (Virginia, DC, or Maryland) due to role responsibilities. Orchestrates, guides, and validates information with the extended account team; leads or participates in problem-solving and decision-making processes. Qualifications University or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Typically 4+ years sales experience. High level of experience and understanding of the US DoD and DISA organizations and mission. Knowledge of HPE portfolio preferred; account management experience desired. Experience in IT industry and working with US DoD/DISA and/or within government customers; experience in vertical industries. Familiarity with HPEs sales tools and processes is a plus. Impact/Scope Typically represents 1 to many accounts with high revenue for HPE, managing a large account within an assigned geography. Works with mid-level decision-makers; orchestrates regional pursuit resources for the account. Complexity Leads moderately complex sales engagements and project management; understands federal funding policies and regulations for US DoD and DISA.
