Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Level 1/ Level 2) to provide support to our team. This role is currently 100% telecommuting and may require limited travel to our local United States locations. Responsibilities include: Develop contract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of services, specialized materials, and/or equipment. Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders conferences, analyze and evaluate proposals, perform price/cost analysis, negotiate contract provisions, select or recommend contractors, write awards, and administer resulting contracts. Ensure that appropriate documentation is provided to logistics/transportation & warehouse organization so that proper receipt is recorded. Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to contracts. Participate with program functional areas to coordinate contract funding, invoice processing, and program reviews. Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program, and end-users. Evaluate and monitor supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules. Identify strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations. Manage performance of procurement packages and ensure compliance with all public law requirements as well as company policies and procedures including import/export regulations. Utilize process tools such as Lean Six Sigma with suppliers to drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Manage and develop strategic/key suppliers and review and approve supplier payments. Basic Qualifications - Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Level 1): A bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Basic Qualifications - Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Level 2): A bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 2 years of supply chain, procurement, and/or material planning experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment, or a Master's degree from an accredited university. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to be agile and work in a fast-paced engineering environment. Experience with SAP/SAR Program. Previous defense experience. Ability to work in a team environment while also being able to work independently with limited oversight. Experience with material forecasting and variance reporting. Knowledgeable of the FAR/DFARS and processes and/or procedures required to be in compliance with FAR/DFARS. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Salary Range: $50,600 - $75,800 Salary Range 2: $61,000 - $91,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
