Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Vice President of Finance to join our executive leadership team and oversee all financial operations and strategies for our commercial real estate portfolio. The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in driving financial performance, optimizing capital allocation, and providing strategic guidance to support the company's growth and profitability objectives. Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis:

Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with business goals and objectives. Capital Markets:

Manage capital raising initiatives, debt financing, and equity transactions, working closely with lenders, investors, and capital partners to optimize capital structure, secure financing, and fund acquisitions and development projects. Investment Analysis:

Conduct investment analysis, feasibility studies, and due diligence for potential acquisitions, developments, and dispositions, evaluating risk-adjusted returns, market dynamics, and investment opportunities to drive portfolio growth and value creation. Asset Management:

Oversee asset management activities, including property-level financial performance analysis, leasing strategy evaluation, and portfolio optimization, to maximize property value and investor returns. Financial Reporting:

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, investor reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate risk, currency risk, and market volatility, implementing risk management strategies and controls to safeguard assets and preserve shareholder value. Tax Planning and Compliance:

Collaborate with tax advisors and legal counsel to develop tax-efficient structures, strategies, and solutions, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. Treasury Management:

Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, optimizing cash management practices, investment strategies, and banking relationships to maximize returns and minimize financing costs. Strategic Planning:

Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes, providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support business growth, expansion, and diversification initiatives. Team Leadership:

Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to drive departmental and organizational success. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. [X years] of progressive experience in finance leadership roles within the commercial real estate industry, with a proven track record of financial management, capital raising, and investment analysis. Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance, investment principles, and market dynamics, with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and underwriting. Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, assess risks, and make informed decisions in a dynamic and complex business environment. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to commercial real estate. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving performance, achieving goals, and delivering value to investors and stakeholders.
