Sales Analyst

The Sales Analyst will play a vital role in driving informed decision-making and facilitating sales strategies within the organization. By analyzing sales data and market trends and supporting Sales, the Sales Analyst provides valuable leadership insights, ultimately contributing to achieving sales targets and maximizing revenue. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to all safety requirements and provide a safe working environment. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of sales data by conducting regular data audits and resolving inconsistencies. Ensure timely and accurate input of information related to opportunities, including delivery date, sign-off date, estimated sales amount, and estimated cost of sales. Ensure contracts are reviewed and documented and work with the Head of Finance to take corrective actions to mitigate risk. Ensure commissions are calculated correctly and timely based on the company policy. Provide on-time and accurate reporting related to sales, including reporting on pipeline size attainment, sales quota attainment, new business (growth attainment), sales expense ratio, opportunity win-loss analysis, and sales forecast accuracy. Ensures payment terms are adhered to on all proposals, and secures approval for non-standard terms Confirms commission eligibility for all projects Reviews signed contracts and enters Sales Orders Build strong partnership compliance with Sales Team, project management team, and operations team. Collect, use, and interpret sales data from various sources, including CRM systems, sales reports, and market research. Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to management. Utilize historical sales data and market trends to create accurate sales forecasts. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Provide insights on market changes that could impact sales strategies. Assists with month end close as required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). Proven experience as a Sales Analyst or in a similar analytical role. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, Sage Intacct). Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Familiarity with Salesforce and sales-related databases. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and within a team. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques is a plus. Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
