With kindness and integrity as our guide, we strive for excellence in every interaction.Requirements:You care.Comprehensive Benefits:Medical insurance with Rx benefitsDental insuranceVision care401k Paid vacationCareer Management:Opportunities to attend company University training coursesCareer options and path developmentMentorshipRN Responsibilities:Assign nurses to patientsEnsure nursing operational standards are metProvide reports on productivity, quality, and customer service metricsEnsure all nurses follow policies and proceduresTrain new team membersEvaluate nurses' performanceInform family members about medical procedures and doctors' instructionsHandle complaints or other issuesEstablish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family, and friendsKeep records of nurses' files, patients' cases, and proceduresHandles AdmissionsSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents servedMust be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilitiesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved Registered Nurse programBachelor's degree in Nursing preferredMinimum of two years' experience in long term care nursing facilityNursing supervisory experience preferredMust possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this stateCPR certification requiredWORK ENVIRONMENT:Moves intermittently during working hoursIs subject to frequent interruptionsIs involved with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, etcWorks beyond normal duty hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessaryIs subject to call back during emergency conditions (e.g., severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.)Is subject to injury from falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc. throughout the workday, as well as reactions from dust, disinfectants, tobacco smoke, and other air contaminants Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including TB and the AIDS and Hepatitis B virusesMay be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals
