As we continue to expand our offerings, we are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to serve as a liaison for integrating our clients benefits APIs with the largest benefits carriers in the US.

Job Description:

Position: Technical Product Manager - API Integration

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Job Type: Long-term contract


Responsibilities:

  1. API Integration Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for integrating benefits APIs with major benefits carriers in the US market.

  2. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between our client and external benefits carriers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on integration objectives.

  3. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product development teams and sales representatives, to gather requirements for API integration and prioritize feature enhancements.

  4. Technical Oversight: Work closely with development teams to oversee the technical implementation of API integrations, ensuring adherence to best practices and compatibility with existing systems.

  5. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of API integrations to ensure functionality, reliability, and security, addressing any issues or discrepancies as they arise.

  6. Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation and training materials to support internal teams and external partners in understanding and utilizing benefits APIs effectively.

  7. Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of API integrations post-launch, analyzing metrics and gathering feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  8. Compliance and Security: Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to data privacy, security, and compliance, ensuring that API integrations meet all necessary standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (10 years) in product management

  • Strong technical background with expertise in API integration and software development methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
