San Francisco, United States Cynch AI Full time

Come Revolutionize Accounting with AI

We're a seed-stage AI startup led by a founding team of AI startup veterans on a mission to revolutionize the accounting industry. We are combining reasoning, machine learning, and generative AI to augment and democratize the expertise of accountants, empowering individuals and small businesses to make more informed financial decisions.

We're seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and technical Product Manager with a genuine passion for building products.  In this role, attention to detail is not just a requirement; it's a cornerstone. We believe in the profound impact that well-crafted solutions can have, and your focus on usability for the user will play a pivotal role in our journey.  If you are someone who thrives on bringing innovative ideas to life and is driven by the desire to make a real impact, then we're looking for you to help turn our revolutionary vision into reality.

Join us in shaping the future of accounting and helping our clients achieve better financial outcomes

What You'll Do:

Own feature/product development from conception to launch.

Write detailed product briefs and requirements that clearly articulate the customers’ needs and prioritize the details to build a solution.

Review and prioritize customer feedback and transform it into product requirements.

Define and analyze metrics to understand feature adoption and guide the development of new and existing features.

Foster effective and proactive communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Exhibit resilience in the face of obstacles and the ability to solve problems independently.

Contribute to business model innovation and drive product growth.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of product management experience, ideally within the AI and/or tax space.

Deep knowledge and first-hand experience with AI/ML-powered technology products.

B.S. or M.S., preferably in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.

Entrepreneurial / self-starter mindset who, first and foremost, knows how to get work done in a dynamic startup environment.

Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.

Experience driving product adoption and measuring critical metrics.

Ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Experience leading in challenging and changing priorities.

Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working across time zones and diverse cultures.

You Will Be A Great Fit If You:

Are creative with solutions. We might solve the same problem with a plugin, or integration, or other ways - not just through web apps.

Are not shy about getting your hands dirty to meet deadlines - whether it’s creating low-fidelity mockups or manually testing things out.

Efficiently prioritize work with the goal of delivering timely and pragmatic solutions rather than perfect but late-to-market solutions.

Maintain a strong sense of security consciousness, given the sensitive nature of the data we deal with.

Thrive in highly technical, engineering-focused teams.

Believe in "production or it didn't happen."

Can set aside ego and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Believe that the best ideas win and can come from anyone regardless of position.

Are comfortable giving and receiving open and honest feedback to improve teamwork.

Benefits

What We're Offering:

An opportunity to significantly shape the future of our startup. Your ideas and expertise will directly influence our product and overall direction.

A culture of transparency and collaboration where every voice is valued.

We embrace the new world of work, offering flexible remote and hybrid work options—we're about finding the best talent, regardless of location.

Competitive salary and equity package—you'll be a part of our success, and we believe in sharing that success with you.

Generous time off policy because we know rest and recharge are vital for sustained performance.

A comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401k.

If you're ready to pioneer AI in the accounting industry, eager to put your skills to work, and excited about making a significant impact in a dynamic team, we're eager to meet you. Let's reinvent accounting with AI.
