Responsible for oversight and processing of receivables, collections, and general ledger. Responsible for timely billing to funders of Rehabilitative services. Maintain and update consumer data and rates in the accounting system. Provide guidance to the Accounting Specialist. Monthly reconciliation and review of revenue and expenses. Research, reconcile, and post cash receipts into the accounting system. Reporting Accounts Receivable concerns to department managers. Assist in preparing and submitting monthly financial reports. Assist with the annual budgeting process. Participates in the external annual audit process. Maintains historical financial records of the corporation. Participates in cross-training within the accounting department. Communicates effectively with co-workers, management, and external personnel. Fosters teamwork, professionalism, and Human Rights awareness. Completes all required Didlake training. Didlake, Inc. is a non-profit rehabilitation services organization. Requirements: BA/BS degree in Accounting or Business preferred and four (4) years of relevant work experience or six (6) years of direct work experience. Skills and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of office practices, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn new computer programs. Experience with computerized accounting systems. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to project a positive and professional image. Ability to interact effectively and supportively with people with disabilities.
