CNC Machinist

**Job Duties**

+ CNC machinist will perform set ups, adjustments, and troubleshooting on various machine tools and ensures parts are made to print.

+ Operates departmental equipment when machines are not available for set up.

+ Assists Lead Person in trouble-shooting problems with programs, tooling, fixtures, and out-of-print parts.

+ Checks critical dimensions of parts using CMM, QC gauges, and other measuring instruments.

+ Performs First Article Inspections using applied understanding of Geometric Dimensions and Tolerancing (GD&T).

**Qualifications**

+ Experience performing set ups and operation on either CNC mills or CNC lathes

+ Able to read, understand and follow work instructions.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

+ Intermediate blueprint reading and strong shop math skills required

+ CNC programming experience is a plus

**Shifts**

+ Shifts are either Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday with openings on both day and swing shift, plus shift differential
