Job OverviewQuality Assurance/Quality Control Oilfield ManufacturingWe are in search of a top candidate for Quality department in a high pressure oilfield hose operation.Required Experience: Basic Measurements ConversionsComputer LiterateJob Responsibilities and skill requirements:Moderate computer skills (Microsoft Office)Communicate effectively with customersAbility to handle varied and moderately complex assignments.Operates under limited supervisionBasic understanding of Quality Management SystemThe Quality Technician will be responsible for process set-up verification and provides specialized technical support to engineers and production for final product characteristics.Performs quality tests/inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc. at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.Processing customer returns and reporting on resultsRecords and reports on measurement and process performance dataAnalyzes data and writes summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standardRecommends modifications to existing, or suggests new, standards, methods and proceduresGenerates traceability documents and supports daily operationsPerforms final QC and product release3 years of relevant experienceHigh School diploma required2 year technical degree preferredAttention to detail - following procedures, taking data, understanding testing requirements.Experience and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and/or electrical machinery and systems. Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work independently or in a team environmentUnderstanding of mechanical laboratory test equipment and measurement toolsUnderstanding of manufacturing, laboratory settings, or quality assuranceGood interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsGood planning, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to perform mathematical calculationsAbility to analyze and trouble shoot test related equipment and/or procedural issuesAbility to setup and utilize data acquisition systemsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.Job Specifics:Pay: $18 to $24/hr.
