Apply todayASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN FINAL PRODUCTION LINE$2,000 HIRING BONUSPay Range: $18 for entry level (will train)- $24+ based on experience and skill set.3rd Shift hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00pm - 6:00am + $2/hour DifferentialOVERALL SUMMARYResponsible for various types of installation mechanics. Elliott products are manufactured to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction for installation. Also includes custom installation of hydraulic valves, cylinders, and controls. Basic knowledge of 12v electrical systems and basic wiring techniques.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Interpretation of mechanical drawings Conventional and precision measuring instruments Process inspection, certification, and documentation Builds and/or modifies equipment in accordance to established specifications to meet specific project requirements Repairs and/or modifies existing and new products accordance with established specifications and procedures Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices Punctual and regular attendance is required Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Must have own toolsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESIndividual must possess these knowledge's, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities: Knowledge of Hydraulics and 12v electrical Mechanical aptitude Ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner Ability to attend to visual and written details in order to identify errors Ability to function effectively as a team player Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing Good math and measurement skills Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Ability to manage several projects simultaneously Must be self motivatedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School diploma, or equivalent Previous mechanical experience required Three years of Hydraulic knowledge in a job shop environment preferred but not requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. This position includes the following physical demands: Extending and pulling the hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction while working with various tools as mentioned before. Seizing, holding, rasping, turning, pulling, or otherwise working with hands and arms. Using arms in such a way as pulling of tools, wrenches, parts, and equipment to complete the job. Picking, pinching, or otherwise working with fingers primarily (rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling). Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to climb up and down trucks, steps, and ladders safety.
