Other duties may be assigned.Follows established cleaning schedule.*Completes daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of all common areas.*Follows established schedule for "deep cleaning" of resident rooms.*Cleans administrative offices as scheduled.*Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms.*Cleans carpets and mops all floors upon request.*Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents.*Ensures and supports a dignified and caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and associates.*Responds promptly and courteously to resident's, families, and visitors requests for assistance.*Speaks to/interacts with residents showing empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect.*Communicates effectively in a language that each resident is capable of understanding.*Maintains a safe and secure working environment free of objects/situations that could cause harm and/or falls to residents, families visitors and associates.*Practices good body mechanics and safe working habits.*Observes and reports safety hazards immediately to supervisor.*Provides assistance to associates when requested or required.*Knows, understands and follows established policy and procedures in emergency situations.*Is considered essential personnel during emergencies and/or inclement weather.
