Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician The Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician will be responsible for filling, verifying, and checking prescriptions that are being mailed out. They will handle a variety of tasks including pulling, picking, and boxing up medication with all necessary applications. This role requires standing for the entire 8-hour shift and lifting up to 25 lbs. Responsibilities Fulfill various duties related to filling, processing, dispensing, and shipping medication. Adhere to pharmacy safety practices to ensure quality of care for patients. Efficiently pull correct products based on drug name and NDC; label products according to manufacturer and state/federal requirements. Apply knowledge and skills to activities that vary day-to-day. Prioritize and organize work to meet agreed upon deadlines. Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Package products, patient paperwork, and any additional materials efficiently according to manufacturer requirements. Handle the packaging of hazardous materials/products based on USP 800 guidelines. Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills Pharmacy technician license or registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT). Experience in filling prescriptions and pharmacy fulfillment. Attention to detail in handling high volume of prescriptions. Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift. Capability to work in a retail pharmacy setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Ability to work across multiple screens. Work Environment This is a full-time onsite position at a closed-door, mail-order specialty pharmacy. The pharmacy operates from Monday to Friday, with shifts available from 8am to 8pm. Training hours are from 8:30am to 5:00pm EST for two weeks, with no time off allowed during this period. After training, shift hours will fall between 8am and 8pm EST and will be determined based on business needs. The pharmacy handles high-cost, complex specialty drugs, shipping medications directly to patients' homes without in-person visits. There is potential for weekend work in the future. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lake Mary, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
