Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician The Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician is responsible for filling, verifying, and checking prescriptions that are mailed out. This role involves standing for an 8-hour shift and requires the capability to lift up to 25 lbs. The technician will be involved in pulling, picking, and boxing up medication with all appropriate applications. Responsibilities Fill, process, dispense, and ship medications according to the pharmacy's safety practices. Coordinate the pull, pick, and labeling of products. Maintain professionalism and document within processing systems based on policies and procedures. Efficiently pull correct products based on drug name and NDC; label products according to manufacturer and regulatory requirements. Package products, patient paperwork, and additional materials to meet manufacturer requirements. Handle the packaging of hazardous materials/products in accordance with USP 800 guidelines. Prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines. Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills Pharmacy technician license (Registered Pharmacy Technician). Experience in filling prescriptions and pharmacy fulfillment. Ability to stand during an 8-hour shift. Attention to detail and high volume experience. Pharmacy technician certification. Data entry and customer service skills. Knowledge of prior authorization and healthcare processes. Order fulfillment and Microsoft Access proficiency. Keyboarding skills and pharmaceutical knowledge. Additional Skills & Qualifications Registered Pharmacy Technician certification. Ability to work across multiple screens. High School Diploma or GED. Work Environment This is an onsite, closed-door, mail-order specialty pharmacy. The facility operates Monday through Friday, with shift availability from 8am to 8pm. Shifts may fall between 6am and 8pm, with potential weekend work in the future. The pharmacy handles specialty drugs, which are high cost and can be complex. Training hours are from 8:30am to 5:00pm EST for two weeks, during which no time off will be allowed. Post-training, shifts will be determined based on business needs and may vary. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lake Mary, FL.
