The Corporate Battery Laboratory conducts testing in support of C&D/Trojan's various lead acid battery product offerings from UPS, Telecom, and Switchgear stationary applications to golf cart, motive, and solar applications. Laboratory testing activities will include performing and documenting laboratory tests on batteries and battery components, including plastics, adhesives, by collecting and analyzing test data associated with lead-acid battery, electrical, physical characteristics, and summarizing results and presenting findings.Areas of FocusBattery testingData AnalysisReport writingResponsibilitiesPerform electrical testing on batteries following laboratory procedures with minimal supervision while working closely with other members of the laboratory teamOperate electrical instrumentation to measure the performance of batteries. Some battery testing may occur within high temperature chambers (120-160F) exposing individual to high temperature/humidity for extended periods (30 minutes at a time).
