Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead a dynamic and diverse group of electrical engineering consultants onsite near Horsham, PA.

A P.E License within Electrical Engineering is a pre-requisite for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Project Leadership: Utilize your deep understanding of engineering principles, industry standards, and codes to lead the technical execution of projects. Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, serving as the electrical subject-matter expert. Your expertise in modern control and power systems—including motor and drive engineering, PLC and distributed control, and power distribution—will be crucial.
  • Project Management: Take charge of client relations, project scoping, and assembling project teams. You'll be responsible for maintaining project schedules and budgets, ensuring client expectations are met, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Practice Development: Play a vital role in the growth and development of the company's electrical practice. This includes mentoring and developing upcoming engineers, contributing to internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives, and representing the company in professional organizations, conferences, and technical committees.
Required Qualifications:
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Over 20 years of relevant industry experience, including sectors such as energy, power generation, rail transit, wastewater, civil infrastructure, and movable structures.
  • Proven expertise in electrical engineering applications, such as failure analysis, non-destructive evaluation, system design, and litigation support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of excellence, integrity, and attention to detail.
