Role and Responsibilities: Under general direction, performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex applications that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills. Qualifications, Certifications and Education Requirements:

MA / MS in related field with 10+ years’ experience as Software Engineer Or in lieu: BA/BS in related field with 15+ years’ experience as Software Engineer Excellent written and verbal communications Experience with Java Design patterns (MVC, DAO, Singleton, Factory, etc.) Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, SQLServer, Sybase or similar databases. Experience using version control tools such as Git. Experience with software development processes such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall Experience supporting JVMs in Unix/Linux/Windows environments. Experience using modern UI technologies such as Angular, React, and Bootstrap Experience using build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and npm. Creative problem-solving abilities and strong work ethic and “can do” attitude. Ability to take high-level requirements and compile them into development tasks. Ability to estimate tasks based off technical debt, level of effort, and complexity. Ability to thrive in a team/collaborative environment. Ability to provide mentoring and coaching to less experienced team members. Ability to function at a fast pace with multiple deadlines. US Citizen Secret Clearance Required. CompTIA Security+ Required. Preferred Skills:

Experience with frameworks such as SpringMVC, JasperReports, and Hibernate Experience with CI tools like Hudson, Jenkins or Bamboo Knowledge of SOA to include SOAP/WSDL and RESTful services. Experience using Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or NetBeans Experience with shell scripting, parsing, and analyzing log files with REGEXP.
