About the Role:

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our accounting department, assisting the CFO with maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the overall financial success of the business. Your daily responsibilities will include performing general accounting tasks such as reconciling, journal entries, and other analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts.
  • Fixed Asset accounting, including new asset additions, deletions, and depreciation schedules.
  • Tax processing Monthly and Quarterly based on sales.
  • Close financials on a monthly basis.
  • Run multiple reports and dashboards from Salesforce, ensuring reliable information is sent to our accounting system.
  • Proactively analyze and investigate discrepancies, taking necessary actions to resolve issues or escalating them as needed.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts for assigned locations.
  • Serve as a liaison and communicate with team members, assisting with questions.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and special projects as assigned.
