A Day In The Life The Sr. Compliance Auditor, under the leadership of the Audit Manager and Director of Business Advisory & Audit Services, will support the process to bring value-added services to the Compliance and Internal Audit teams in the form of recommendations for improved compliance or operational controls and enhanced business practices to support a strong control environment with a focus on anti-corruption controls. The Sr. Compliance Auditor will bring an understanding of corporate compliance program requirements, financial reporting and controls, risk analysis and quantitative and analytical techniques to understand the Friedkin affiliated companies operating, financial and accounting systems with a focus on anti-corruption and corporate compliance program elements. The Sr. Compliance Auditor will 1) support corporate compliance program activities, 2) Compliance Department operations, 2) conduct audits, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements, 3) ensure that all audits meet the highest professional and ethical standards and 4) manage compliance tools and software. The Sr. Compliance Auditor also must demonstrate strong project execution skills; sound decision making-skills; effective communication skills; and be comfortable interacting with personnel at all levels within an organization As a Sr Compliance Auditor you will: Conduct compliance internal audits within the Friedkin affiliated companies to ensure the integrity of financial operations, protect company assets, validate anti-corruption practices and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operating and accounting controls. Plan and execute a variety of audit engagements, including compliance audits, operational reviews and financial and control assessments. Identify audit exceptions, internal control weaknesses, inefficient practices and procedures, and recommend creative and effective corrective action. Do this by analyze findings and applying professional accounting standards, compliance standards and auditing principles, preparing comprehensive audit reports and work papers, schedules and summaries. Partner with Compliance Lead to monitor compliance program effectiveness, adherence to the FSGO, international standards and identify root causes for trends/gaps and work with management to remediate. Partner with Compliance Lead to conduct compliance planning activities (ex. risk assessment schedules, associate training, communication plan, etc.) and support the TFG enterprise to assess their annual compliance strategy and actions. Assist Compliance Lead to administer overall governance monitoring and reporting for the various corporate compliance programs. Manage and maintain various compliance tools, such as NAVEX RiskRate, EthicsPoint and PolicyTech. Prepare periodic reporting on risk assessments, BCP activity, business unit compliance and overall BCP effectiveness and present the information to management. Coordinate with the Compliance Lead and Chief Compliance Officer to conduct Compliance Risk Assessments across the enterprise. Partner with the Compliance Lead to conduct compliance due diligence initiatives and fully understand procure to pay activities across the enterprise. Build rapport and a partnership with Friedkin affiliated company management teams. Assist in the development of associate compliance communications, training and engagement programs. Keep up to date with related legislation and compliance issues. Work with the Compliance Lead to incorporate new regulations into the corporate compliance programs. Assist during internal investigations, if requested. What We Need From You Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Req 5 years internal or external auditing experience Required 5 years public accounting audit experience Preferred 5 years corporate compliance program and FSGO experience Preferred Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Preferred DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required Physical and Environmental Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
