Overview: The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis functions of the financial operations team. In this role the Director of FP&A will develop complex models using data insights generated from relevant and timely analysis of financial information and strategy and will present suggestions and insights into the drivers of the results for use in leaderships’ development of strategic decisions. The Director of FP&A will also partner with the Financial Controller and support the financial operations team by supervising, directing, and developing the appropriate team resources to meet team objectives.

This role will work closely with campaign leadership and stakeholders throughout the campaign and will support and guide the day to day budget team operations. Key Responsibilities

Creates, develops, and maintains functional budgets/policies/procedures to support the campaign financial operations. Direct the preparation and detailed analysis of ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly variances of actuals to budget, forecasts, and prior periods. Leverage analytical tools to quickly present meaningful, complete, and concise insights on drivers Present clearly trends and variance drivers, key performance indicators, risks and opportunities, and develop recommendations for leadership use. Enhance processes and reporting by leading the implementation of processes and procedures to resolve data quality issues and ensure consistency between multiple areas and reporting systems Participate in, develop, direct, and support the budget team’s portion of monthly close activities Serve as the key point of contact for leadership throughout the campaign in the preparation, modification, and detailed analysis in departmental budgets and allocations. Provide critical financial assistance to CFO in development of regular financial presentations to leadership and other stakeholders Support department heads and leadership with business cases, ROI and other financial support for new initiatives Updated job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications
