CNC Machinist

-Ideal candidate has at least two years' experience operating a CNC lathe/router
-Ability to read blue prints and technical drawings, understand engineering specifications and transform these into the correct programming for the CNC Router
-Ability to perform program edits to G-code CNC programs
-Ability to conduct preventative maintenance on CNC Router & do minor repairs
-Good math and measurement skills, including use of micrometers, vernier calipers
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Good problem solving skills, detail oriented, well organized, willingness to keep work area clean and orderly Dependable PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing for up to eight to ten hours/day Walking, bending, & stooping two to three hours/day Ability to wear PPE, including, but not limited to, a respirator, hard hat, safety glasses and uniform Capable of lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
The position will train of 1st shift, and move to 2nd.
