**NP Nocturnist opening in southeast Alabama** - Located in ***Dothan, AL*** - 80 miles to Panama City Beach, FL - Service area of 600,000+ people - Acute care boards required - Inpatient - Night shifts - Full-time, permanent opening - Hospital-employed position - Joining an established ***Hospitalist group*** with 27 physicians - A 420-bed regional referral and Level II trauma center - Must have 1+ year of acute care experience - Daily, 12 physicians work the 7am - 7pm shift and 2 physicians and a CRNP provide care during the 7pm - 7am - Average daily census is 15-20 patients per physician provider**Benefits Include:*** Paid interviewing expenses* A commencement bonus and relocation expense allowance* Competitive salary dependent on experience with comprehensive benefits package that includes but is not limited to dental, health, malpractice, vacation, CME and retirement* Allowance for licensing and professional fees* Paid time off for illness and vacation**Medical Center:*** One of the largest not-for-profit tertiary referral centers in Alabama* 420 licensed bed facility* Serves over 600,000 in a 75-mile radius* 22 ORs with 2 endovascular Suites and open heart surgery suites* Level 2 trauma center with EM residency trained physicians* Interventional cardiology, EP and radiology labs, lithotripsy, 3 MRIs (1 a 3T), 3 CTs including a 64-slice CT and PET scanner* 24/7 Neurosurgery services with 2 employed neurosurgeons and 1 fellowship trained neuroendovascular interventionalist* Dedicated lab for neuroendovascular procedures* 10 bed dedicated Neurocritical Care Unit * 32 ICU beds with dedicated Intensivists* 28 bed inpatient psychiatric program and outpatient center with psychiatric hospitalist coverage* Medical Hospitalist program provides ED unassigned coverage, care for transfers and inpatient consults* 24/7 cardiology services with 3 employed cardiothoracic surgeons * EP cardiology services* Transcatheter aortic valve replacement* Wound Care Center with traditional and advanced treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy* Womens Imaging Center and Family Birth Center with 27 LDRPs* The regions only advanced NICU staffed by specialty-trained neonatologists* Pediatric hospitalists provide care for newborns through adolescents* Clinical Decision Unit holds outpatients and ED patients up to 24 hours for observation and either discharges or admits* ACOM is Alabamas first osteopathic medical school and the first in the U.S. to be developed by a regional medical center* The second class of 143 students graduated from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) in June 2018* An Internal Medicine Residency Program has received ACGME approval and begins July 2018.**Dothan, AL:*** Nearby lakes and rivers and less than 100 miles to Gulf Coast Beaches* Robust business environment ranked #1 in retail sales in Alabama (per capita)* Highland Oaks, a Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, and other public and private golf courses and driving ranges* Regional Airport served by Delta Airlines* Recognized as a Playful City with 19 parks, 6 public swimming pools, 47 tennis courts including a 20-court complex built to professional standard
