Job Description:

The Continuous Improvement Specialist will provide expertise in implementing the Continuous Improvement plan and initiatives. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.

Responsibilities:

* Analyzes, measures, and reports the effectiveness of existing manufacturing processes and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements

* Effectively applies improvement initiatives and all related activities in the facility.

* Assists in training and skills enhancement for all employees with respect to continuous improvement tools and techniques

* Participates in providing technical expertise and implements lean principles, techniques, and methods

* Provides expertise when recommending solutions to problems and implementation of corrective actions

* Participates in the evaluation of new technologies and determines how they can support engineering business processes

* Assists in maintaining a safe production environment

* Other responsibilities as assigned

* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree

* 3+ years aerospace manufacturing experience

* Experience with Manufacturing cells and materials.

Skills and Knowledge:

* Ability to provide special knowledge and expertise while implementing continuous improvement

* Implementing specific elements of LEAN.

* Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools

* Competent in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control

* Proven ability to meet multiple deadlines, using available resources

* Proficient in Microsoft Windows Software applications, Excel, and Word

* Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

El Especialista en Mejora Continua brindar* experiencia en la implementaci*n del plan y las iniciativas de Mejora Continua. Analiza y mide la eficacia de los procesos comerciales existentes y desarrolla mejoras de procesos comerciales sostenibles, repetibles y cuantificables.

Responsabilidades:

* Aplica eficazmente iniciativas de mejora y todas las actividades relacionadas en la instalaci*n.

* Ayuda en la capacitaci*n y mejora de habilidades para todos los empleados con respecto a las herramientas y t*cnicas de mejora continua.

* Participa proporcionando experiencia t*cnica e implementa principios, t*cnicas y m*todos lean.

* Proporciona experiencia al recomendar soluciones a problemas e implementaci*n de acciones correctivas.

* Participa en la evaluaci*n de nuevas tecnolog*as y determina c*mo pueden soportar los procesos de negocio de ingenier*a.

* Ayuda a mantener un entorno de producci*n seguro.

Educaci*n y experiencia:

* Licenciatura

* M*s de 3 a*os de experiencia en fabricaci*n aeroespacial

* Experiencia en Fabricaci*n de celdas y materiales.

Habilidades y conocimientos:

* Capacidad para proporcionar conocimientos y experiencia especiales mientras se implementa la mejora continua.

* Implementaci*n de elementos espec*ficos de LEAN.

*Aptitud mec*nica y dominio del manejo de herramientas manuales.

* Competente en Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma y control estad*stico de procesos.

* Capacidad comprobada para cumplir m*ltiples plazos, utilizando los recursos disponibles.

* Competente en aplicaciones de software Microsoft Windows, Excel y Word.

* Fuertes habilidades anal*ticas, organizativas, de comunicaci*n e interpersonales.
